While living on Sunset Beach on the Hawaiian island of Ohau, Island Style owner and founder Warren Wareing dreamt of starting a surfing company. A surf company that satisfies real need for real surfers in an authentic credible manner. A company that stays true to the traditional roots of surfing and surfing culture. In 1981 Island Style was founded by Warren Wareing and started off as a small surfing accessories company, offering the local surfing community basic surfing equipment. Keeping true to it’s roots & surfing values Island Style grew with the progression of surfing and now is one of the top surf companies in South Africa and is found throughout the world giving surfers pure high quality surfing products designed by surfers for surfers. It is tested by it’s team of international team riders and the result, a reputable surf company with pure roots and that keeps true to it’s Hawaiian heritage. The Island Style culture reflects a love for the ocean and the island lifestyle.
